Ms. Lynch's 1st Grade Class
Welcome to 1st Grade! I am so excited to have you all in my class and I can not wait to get to know each and every one of you. I hope you had a lovely summer and are ready to dive back into learning, this is going to be an excellent year!
About me:
My name is Ms. Lynch and this is actually my first year teaching. I just recently graduated from Florida State University with a degree in education. I was born in Seattle but raised here in Tampa, Florida and I am so excited to now be teaching here as well. I have one dog who is my favorite thing ever, his name is coco! I have worked with kids all throughout my life such as babysitting, working in the kid-zone and being a summer camp counselor. I as well got my CDA as a senior in high school. I am very excited for this year and can not wait to get started!
Announcements:
1) Due to all the changes currently happening in our world there will be some changes for this school year. First off, masks will be mandatory for kids to wear while in the classrooms. We understand this may be difficult for them but they do need to try there best to protect themselves, your families, our staff and other students. Secondly, We will be eating lunch in our classroom everyday to prevent as much interaction as possible. Students who buy lunch will take turns with other classes to get there food and bring it back to the room. Last but not least the classroom will be cleaned before and after each school day to avoid germs from spreading.
2) If you are able to, the school is accepting any donations to help keep our classrooms stocked with cleaning supplies. This includes hand sanitizers, paper towels, packaged masks, and cleaning spray. Any of these items would be appreciated.
3) Each monday we have early release. This means that students will be let out of school 1 hour earlier than usual.
